Furniture Delivery Policy


At OVI Furniture Canada, we provide reliable residential and commercial furniture delivery to ensure your products arrive safely and efficiently. Please review the following details to understand our delivery process and how to prepare for your furniture delivery.

Delivery Process

  • All furniture orders are shipped directly from our warehouse to your specified delivery address.
  • Someone must be present to accept and sign for the delivery—we do not leave furniture unattended.
  • Our delivery team will place your furniture inside your home or facility in your chosen room.
  • For large orders, we offer installation services upon request, which must be arranged before the scheduled delivery date.

Scheduling Your Delivery

  • During checkout, you can select an available delivery date based on our shipping schedule.
  • Once your order is confirmed, you will receive an email with your estimated delivery date.
  • If any changes need to be made to the delivery date or time, you must contact us at least 72 hours before the scheduled delivery.

Preparing for Your Delivery

  • The recipient must match the name on the order and provide a government-issued photo ID to receive the delivery.
  • If the purchaser (credit card holder) cannot be present, notify us in advance to arrange an authorized recipient.
  • If you need to change the delivery location or recipient, you must inform us at least 72 hours before the scheduled delivery.

Delivery Space & Safety Requirements

  • Ensure all entryways, hallways, and staircases are measured before ordering to confirm that your furniture will fit.
  • Remove any obstacles or fragile items (such as wall art or decorations) from hallways or staircases before delivery.
  • OVI Furniture Canada is not responsible for inside property damages during the delivery process.
  • A restocking fee will apply if furniture does not fit through the doorway or into the intended space.
  • If needed, hinged doors can be removed to complete the delivery, but carpentry modifications (e.g., removing moldings, banisters) will not be performed.

Delivery Safety Guidelines

  • Our delivery team will place the furniture inside your home or facility as per your instructions.
  • Team members wear safety footwear and cannot remove their boots indoors. However, they will wear protective boot covers or provide floor coverings to prevent damage.
  • Please ensure that all pathways (indoors and outdoors) are clear for safe and easy furniture placement.
